This animated neon sign is inspired by a quote from The Order of Time by Carlo Rovelli. It cycles through the statements “We observe the universe from within it” and “Observe the universe within” before turning off completely for a brief time. It beckons people to imagine the vastness of the universe, while also encouraging a sense of introspection and reflection on our own connection to the cosmos. Most of the elements that make up our physical bodies were in fact once formed in stars.
