This work replicates a height chart the artist created on a wall in her home to keep track of her son's growth over time. By changing the dates on the original chart to the words "THEN" and "NOW," this work suggests an alternate and more universal way of measuring time. The artist's instructions are to mount the work on the wall so that "SOMEDAY" is 68" above the floor, which is the height the artist's son thinks he will be when he grows up.
