This flashing neon sign was commissioned by TED and made in collaboration with David Moinina Sengeh to create a sense of urgency – and ownership – about climate change. The words “MY, YOUR, OUR, and ABOUT” flash on and off in the center so that the sign says “IT IS MY TIME,” “IT IS YOUR TIME,” “IT IS OUR TIME” and “IT IS ABOUT TIME.” The sign was displayed on a trailer and driven around Dallas, Texas on 10.10.2020 as part of a global art action organized by Fine Acts: ten public artworks, аll launching on the same day in cities around the world, in support of Countdown – TED’s global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis.
